CBSE Initiatives
An awareness activity on the conservation and protection of the seven Big Cat species — Tiger, Lion, Leopard, Snow Leopard, Cheetah, Jaguar, and Puma — was conducted for students of Classes VI to IX on 20 May 2026. During the event, students watched informative videos and took a pledge for global cooperation towards wildlife conservation and environmental protection. The activity aimed to create awareness about the importance of protecting endangered species and caring for nature. A total of 70 students enthusiastically participated in the programme, making it an enriching and meaningful learning experience.
F.42(18)/PE&NI/Misc.(SD)/2025-26/3519–29. Students of Banyan Tree School participated enthusiastically, showcasing remarkable creativity and talent.
The event provided a valuable platform for experiential learning, confidence-building, and healthy inter-school competition. Participants included Srishti Paliwal (Class V); Aditi and Abhimanyu (Class VI); Ritisha (Class VII); Kritika Soni and Ethan Singh (Class VIII); and Ashutosh (Class XI).
The event commenced with the Swadeshi Sankalp Daud, where students took a pledge of self-reliance before the run, followed by a Poster Making session that encouraged critical thinking and creative expression. These activities transitioned from exam preparation to a broader celebration of youth power, concluding with an exhibition of student artwork. Through this integration of fitness, art, and reflection, our Banyanites reaffirmed their commitment to personal growth and compassionate nation-building.
Students from all levels participated in a diverse range of activities, including the National Painting Competition themed ‘Samriddhi Ka Mantra – Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ and the National Essay Competition titled Swatantrata Ka Mantra – Vande Mataram. Our senior students also engaged in the Online Quiz Series, exploring India’s 150-year legacy of patriotic inspiration and space achievements.
A special mention goes to Aryan (Grade 8), whose soul-stirring rendition was selected and submitted for the Nation-wide Singing of Vande Mataram. These initiatives have not only honed our students’ creative talents but also deepened their connection to India’s journey toward self-reliance and unity.
