Orientation Programme (IX) 2025-26
The school’s vision—to provide a safe, inclusive, and dynamic learning environment—was shared, along with a reaffirmation of its core values: Respect, Responsibility, and Safety. The orientation aimed to inspire students, clarify academic and assessment structures, explain discipline norms, and strengthen parent-school collaboration.
Important information regarding school hours (8:00 AM to 2:00 PM), attendance requirements (minimum 75% as per CBSE), and the ERP portal for leave applications was shared. Students were reminded of the school’s strict code of conduct, especially regarding the use of mobile devices. The academic framework, including subjects offered and assessment criteria (80 marks theory and 20 marks internal assessment), was explained, with a focus on timely submissions and promotion rules.
To promote holistic development, two CBSE skill subjects—Artificial Intelligence and Physical Activity Trainer—were introduced. Students were also encouraged to actively participate in clubs and co-curricular activities scheduled for Saturdays.
Parents were urged to monitor academic progress, ensure regular attendance, reinforce school discipline, and stay updated via the ERP portal. Fee payment guidelines, including online payment and deadlines, were also discussed. The event concluded with the introduction of Class IX class teachers—Dr. Kaukab Razi and Ms. Shweta Kumar—and an interactive Q&A session that addressed parent concerns, reinforcing the school’s commitment to transparent communication and student success.
The program began with a warm welcome by the Middle School Headmistress, Ms. Sharmila Bhalla, who emphasized the importance of discipline, dedication, and active participation in school activities. Subject coordinators introduced the curriculum, highlighting core subjects and elective options available to students. The significance of co-curricular activities, sports, and skill-based learning was also discussed.
A dedicated session on school policies covered attendance requirements, code of conduct, and examination guidelines. Teachers also addressed disciplinary measures, stressing the importance of respect, punctuality, and adherence to school rules. Parents were encouraged to actively support their children’s academic journey and maintain regular communication with teachers.
Additionally, the newly appointed class teachers and subject teachers were introduced, helping students and parents establish a connection with their mentors for the year ahead. The event successfully provided valuable insights and set a positive tone for the new academic session.
We appreciate the enthusiastic participation of our students and parents, and look forward to a successful academic year!
