The first stop of the excursion was the National Police Memorial, which is dedicated to the brave martyrs who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving the nation. The memorial provided a deep and insightful understanding of the courage and dedication of our police officers. Students were able to pay their respects and learn about the sacrifices made by these officers, creating an atmosphere of reverence and appreciation for their service.
After the visit to the memorial, the group moved on to the beautiful Lodhi Garden, known for its lush greenery and historical significance. The garden, with its peaceful environment and scenic landscapes, provided the perfect setting for students to relax and reflect on the lessons they had learned. The excursion concluded with a small picnic where students had the chance to unwind, play, and enjoy each other’s company, marking a symbolic end to their academy experiences.
This trip also served as an excellent icebreaker for both students and teachers, helping everyone to bond and build stronger relationships outside the classroom. It provided a unique opportunity for everyone to engage in discussions, share experiences, and create lasting memories together. Not only was the trip educational, offering students a deeper understanding of India’s history and culture, but it was also a fun and engaging way for them to relax and enjoy the day.

इस वर्ष की हिंदी दिवस असेंबली का आयोजन सुबह 8 बजे विद्यालय के मुख्य सभागार स्थल पर किया गया। समारोह की शुरुआत प्रधानाचार्या जी द्वारा दीप प्रज्ज्वलित कर तथा सरस्वती वंदना से की गयी।
समारोह में हिन्दी की अनेक विधाओं को प्रदर्शित किया गया।
छात्रों ने भाषा की महत्ता समझायी।
छात्रों ने प्रसिद्ध हिंदी कवियों की कविताओं का सुंदर पाठ किया। कविता पाठ के माध्यम से हिंदी साहित्य की विविधता और गहराई को प्रदर्शित किया गया।
नुक्कड़ नाटक ने समारोह के माहौल को जीवंत कर दिया।
नृत्य प्रस्तुतियों द्वारा देश की सांस्कृतिक झलक का आयोजन किया गया। इन प्रस्तुतियों ने हिंदी भाषा की सांस्कृतिक धरोहर को जीवंत किया और दर्शकों का मन मोह लिया।

The students began by exploring Isa Khan’s Tomb and Mosque, a pre-Mughal era structure built in 1547, and noted its unique combination of Lodhi and early Mughal architectural styles.
Next, they visited Bu Halima’s grave and garden, a tranquil oasis within the complex. They learned about the significance of the garden’s design, inspired by the charbagh concept.
The students then proceeded to the Arab Sarai, a historic inn for travelers and artisans, and discovered its importance in the construction of Humayun’s Tomb.
The group continued to the Afsarwala Tomb and Mosque, a 16th-century structure built for a nobleman. They observed its intricate stone carvings and ornate decorations.
The students explored the Baoli, a stepwell that served as a water source for the complex, and the ruins of shops adjacent to it.
The walk culminated at Humayun’s Tomb, where they learned about the life of Humayun, the second Mughal emperor, and his wife Haji Begum, who commissioned the tomb’s construction. The complex also houses the graves of other Mughal rulers and nobles.
This heritage walk deepened students’ understanding of India’s rich history, cultural diversity, and architectural heritage. It inspired them to appreciate and preserve their cultural treasures for future generations.

The program continued with a lively western musical performance that delighted the audience. This was followed by a skit that captured the essence of Independence Day, highlighting its historical and emotional significance. The festivities were further enhanced by a dynamic dance performance, adding vibrancy and energy to the event.
The celebration concluded with an inspiring address from the Principal, who spoke about the importance of freedom and unity. The national anthem reinforced a shared sense of patriotism and pride. The event ended with a motivational call to uphold the spirit of Independence Day throughout the year and heartfelt wishes for a Happy Independence Day.
The colour Pink represents friendship, harmony, inner peace and stability. Pink is also often associated with innocence of childhood. In order to acquaint the little ones with the concept of the colour pink, Pink Day was organized for the students of Nursery and KG. Dressed in different shades of pink, the young ones looked charismatic radiating love, beauty and kindness.




From 01/09/23 to 15/09/23 September Swachhata Pakhwada was organised , Swachhta Shapath was taken on the very first day of the Pakhwada, where all the students , the Principal, Vice Princpal and the staff of the school participated. Out of various activities slogan writing on ‘Swachh Bharat’ were conducted for classes VI to X, where the students realized the importance of cleanliness and sanitation, as the role of schools has been Instrumental in realizing the mission of Swachh Bharat.

They notably pledged to be creative and innovative citizens for the country. They pledged to maintain peace and harmony as the young citizens of the country; and to protect the rich heritage of our country.

’12th November 2022…..the heritage walk to Humayun’s Tomb was a day full of adventures, fun and learning with friends for the history students of class XII ! A clear sky, beautiful architecture, nature and the sound of birds along with interesting stories… made it a memorable day!’

This implies that the students are not only physically learning the techniques of karate but are also learning the mental and emotional aspects of the martial art. This could refer to the discipline, focus, and values that karate teaches, in addition to the physical skills.
Silhouette Autobiography
On 15th April, 2023 BTS Lodhi Road conducted ‘Silhouette Autobiography’ for grades IX to XII. Students were asked to bring cut-outs of girl/boy on coloured sheets. They were asked to write about themselves in the cut-out.The students included various things like about their dreams, challenges they have had to overcome, their favourite memory and many others.Through this activity, students used their creative skills and wrote their minds.
Food Is The String That Binds Us Together
Students brought a variety of local cuisine/dishes of various Indian regions- Tamil Nadu, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar, Punjab, Assam etc.
The students enthusiastically showcased their dish by sharing its name (in local language), the process involved in its making, the ingredients used and also shared the importance of the dish in the culture.
The theme of the activity was to make students aware about traditional local cuisines and the use of local language involved in the process.The incredible culinary diversity of India was depicted through this activity.
