Chess Tournament
The school chess tournament brought together students of grades VI-IX, showcasing strategic brilliance and intense concentration. Participants navigated each move with precision, fostering a spirit of competition and camaraderie. The champions showcased their strategic prowess and sportsmanship, making the tournament a memorable event for all involved.
Exploration Time
Various exploration science activities were conducted in the laboratory, to gain hands-on experience in scientific inquiry, teamwork, and problem-solving. Students had developed a deeper appreciation for the complexities of living creatures and the critical role of science and engineering in expanding our knowledge.
Heritage Club
All set to explore the heritage structures of India, members of Dharohar, the Heritage club of Banyan Tree School, New Delhi sketched and created miniatures of popular heritage structures of India.The Heritage Club is dedicated to enriching students’ knowledge and appreciation of cultural and historical heritage. Through diverse and engaging club activities, opportunity was provided for students to connect with the past.
Election Awareness Week
The Election Awareness activities are designed to instill a sense of civic duty and the importance of participating in the democratic process from a young age. By engaging students in interactive and educational activities, we aim to create informed, responsible future voters who understand the significance of their role in shaping their community and country.
Nature & Science Club
In order to celebrate Earth day, students of Nature & Science club made a collage featuring wildlife.The activity was focused on environment conservation, tree planting and recycling drive.

Physical Activity
Various inter house football & badminton matches were organised for senior classes. The school football match was a thrilling and memorable event, showcasing the spirit and camaraderie of our students. It was a day of exceptional athleticism and teamwork, leaving everyone eagerly anticipating the next encounter on the field.
Budding Star – Arohi Sharma
Arohi Sharma, a student of class XII-C (2023-2024) shared the photograph titled ‘Odyssey’ in the KNMA Shutterbugs Competition, a self-portrait contest inspired by the monochrome world of iconic photographer Raghu Rai, organized by the Kiran Nadar Museum of Arts, New Delhi.
Her photograph won the competition, and she has received the prize from legendary photographer Raghu Rai himself. Her winning photograph is now displayed in a unique pop-up people’s Exhibition at KNMA Saket alongside the ‘Raghu Rai: A thousand Lives’ exhibition.
MasterChef Activity
The students of the Banyan Tree School showcased their culinary skills in the exciting MasterChef Activity conducted on the last day of school before the vacations. The children displayed their creative skills and created delicious dishes like rainbow sandwiches, bhelpuri, and a variety of desserts using only fresh ingredients and simple kitchen tools.
The classroom was charged with excitement and energy. The event not only highlighted the students’ cooking abilities but also encouraged teamwork, innovation, quick thinking and time management skills.

Earth Day Activity

Earth Day is a poignant reminder of our interconnectedness with Mother Earth and the responsibility we bear as stewards of her precious resources. It’s a day to reflect on the beauty and fragility of our planet, to honor the abundance she provides, and to pledge our commitment to preserving and protecting her for future generations.

With this ethos in mind, the children of the middle wing celebrated Earth Day with great enthusiasm. They made beautiful ornaments like ring necklace, bracelet, earring, pendant, keychains, jewelry, decorative artifacts, handprints, and name tags etc. ,with the help of salt dough and other decorated materials to express their gratitude towards Mother earth.

Mother’s Day Activity

“God could not be everywhere, and therefore he made mothers.” — Rudyard Kipling.

Mother’s Day is a heartfelt celebration of the unconditional love, sacrifice, and guidance that mothers bestow upon us. From tender moments shared to lifelong lessons imparted, mothers leave an indelible mark on our hearts and minds.

In the spirit of Mother’s Day, children from the middle wing made beautiful hand printed cards as a token of their love and appreciation. They wrote a self-composed poem and quotes for their mothers to capture the essence and importance of motherhood.

International Affairs Club

The International Affairs Club serves as a vibrant hub for fostering global awareness and understanding among students. The children chose Egypt as the theme country, embarking on an enriching journey to explore the rich history, culture, and contemporary dynamics of this captivating nation. Children researched extensively on the theme country and also made intricately crafted replicas of majestic pyramids.

Creative Club

The Creative Club is a dynamic space where imagination knows no bounds and artistic expression flourishes. With scissors, glue, yarn, and paint as our tools, the children of the Creative Club transform ordinary materials into extraordinary works of art.

With a blend of imagination and craftsmanship, the children transformed simple pieces of wood, acrylic, or clay into personalized name plate masterpieces. From elegant calligraphy to whimsical designs, each name plate reflects the individuality and style of its creator.

Handball Tournament

The Handball Tournament ignites a spirit of competition and camaraderie as teams converge to showcase their athleticism and teamwork on the court. With lightning-fast passes, strategic maneuvers and powerful shots, players of the Banyan Tree School engage in exhilarating matches that captivate spectators and participants alike. From intense rivalries to moments of triumph and teamwork, the tournament embodies the essence of sportsmanship and determination.
Summer Camp 2024-25
The Banyan Tree School’s ‘Enrichment Summer Camp 2024-25’ was organised for Grades 1 to 5 that began on 13th May 2024 and concluded on 17th May 2024. The inquisitive children of our school thoroughly enjoyed all the fun-filled activities conducted at the ‘Enrichment Camp’. It was altogether a delightful treat for children. It allowed them to learn new skills in a safe and secure environment.

Our budding artists crafted different useful objects during their ‘Best out of Waste’ activity, showcasing their innovation. The young scientists engaged themselves in fascinating experiments, exploring the wonders of science. Storytelling sessions gave their minds food for thought. At the same time, Music & Dance and Little Kitchenette activity filled their longing for fun & frolic. On the whole, it was truly an enriching ‘Enrichment Camp.’
