Honouring the idea of celebrating the importance and achievements of its students, Banyan Tree School, Sector-48-B, Chandigarh, organized its first-ever alumni meet on February 24, 2024. The event witnessed the gathering of around 200+ former students from the 2008 batch onward. The alumni meet began with a ceremonial lamp lighting, symbolizing the light of knowledge and the enduring bond between the school and its alumni. To enhance the splendor of the event, a special assembly was organized, enriching the current students’ experience with the legacy and achievements of their predecessors. A euphoria of emotions was witnessed by the ex-students, who revived their old memories through picture videos and discussions, which were followed by a nostalgic school tour, jam sessions, and cultural performances. School teacher Ms. Goldie Bhardwaj welcomed the students and shared her thoughts with them. School Principal Ms. Garima S. Bhardwaj addressed the students and congratulated them on their achievements and their contributions towards becoming responsible citizens. The alumni meet concluded on a memorable note for all present, with the hope of meeting again for good.
