Amidst the vibrant celebration of secularity on the momentous 75th Republic Day at Banyan Tree School, Sector-48-B, Chandigarh, the significance of our Constitution echoed through the air. The morning buzzed with patriotic fervour as students, teachers, and parents gathered to witness a kaleidoscope of performances that beautifully embodied the spirit of unity in diversity. The ceremony began with the hoisting of the national flag by the Guest of Honour, Mr. J.J. Singh, Mr. Manphool Singh, and Mr. R.S. Thapar, followed by the soul-stirring rendition of the National Anthem. Mesmerising performances unfolded, with students portraying the characters of freedom fighters, showcasing their grit and valor.

A classical dance performance further captivated the audience, igniting a profound sense of pride and admiration. The celebration reached a crescendo with a musical mashup that seamlessly blended timeless patriotic tunes with contemporary beats. This fusion of classical and modern elements vividly showcased the rich tapestry of our cultural heritage, leaving the audience in awe of the diversity within our nation. As the festivities unfolded, the school principal, Ms. Garima S. Bhardwaj, took the stage.

In her Vote of Thanks, she not only expressed gratitude for the collective effort put forth by students, teachers, and parents but also emphasized the paramount importance of the Constitution in our country. Ms.Garima  Bhardwaj underscored the need for children to understand this significance right from their school years, laying the foundation for a deep appreciation of their rights and responsibilities as citizens. This holistic approach ensures that the essence of our democratic values is instilled in the younger generation from the outset, fostering a sense of civic duty and national pride.
