Mother’s Day Celebration

On the eve of Mother’s Day, our growing Banyanites created magic through a variety of joyous activities to express their love and thanks for their mothers and all the beautiful affection they pour onto their children.

Annual Exhibition

“Creativity is inventing, experimenting, breaking grounds, and learning.”

Annual Exhibition is the right occasion for the students at BTS to tab and explore their skills in specific areas chosen by them. The outcome is a spectacular display of designs, working models, art models, 3D maps, anatomy displays, language chart models, and craftwork. A proud moment for the parents and teachers to see the children display their mindful creativity.

Personal Hygine Workshop

A workshop on ‘Menstrual Awareness and Personal Hygiene was conducted at Banyan Tree School Jaipur. The workshop was attended by the girl students of the 9-16 years age group along with their mothers.
Dr. Megha Shastri- Gynaecologist and obstetrics (Surya Hospital) was the resource person. She was accompanied by Gynaecologist Dr. Pooja Mittal (Surya Hospital) and Mr. Sohail Khan –Marketing Executive (Surya Hospital).
The Workshop veered on topics related to various menstrual problems, coping and facing the problems, and overcoming challenges. Dr. Megha sensitized the students about hormonal changes and their mental, emotional and physical impacts.
Tips on personal hygiene and sanitation to be maintained during the menstrual period were also discussed at length to groom the students to maintain a healthy personal and social life.
It was an interactive session that aimed at breaking certain stigmas and taboos pertaining to menstruation. Questions and suggestions poured in from the parents who found the workshop highly informative and satisfactory.

HOLI CELEBRATION

“All the colors on you are of love”

Dipped in the hues of joy, love, and friendship, the little blossoms of the Pre Primary wing at Banyan Tree School spread unbridled happiness as they celebrated the festival of Holi on 17th March 2022.
The sheer laughter, music, and colors stimulated new hope and a new beginning towards a brand new session.

Serving the Society

“The objective of cleaning is not just to clean, but to feel happiness living within that environment.”

The Banyan Tree School, Jaipur organized a Cleanliness Drive under the mission of Swachh Bharat Swasth Bharat Abhiyaan The main objective of this program was to spread awareness among the students about the significance of Cleanliness and its benefits. Participation at all levels brings forth the objective to instill the necessity of a clean environment among the children of Banyan Tree School

Road safety week

Considering the magnitude and gravity and the consequent negative impacts on the economy, public health, and general welfare of the people, associated resource personnel from the City Traffic Police Department were invited to sensitize the students about the road safety rules and crises management skills.
Students were briefed about the various traffic rules that ought to be followed in order to maintain safety on the roads. The students were informed about the various traffic signs and their significance, the safety precautions to be taken, and the consequences of breaking the traffic rules through several videos with a pledge to adhere to the safety rules.
The highly interactive session ended with a vote of thanks and declared it a huge success as it helped spread awareness and create traffic ambassadors who shall further spread the message of ensuring road safety and strengthening their resolute as responsible and dutiful citizens of the country.

An activity on “Good Touch and Bad Touch” :

Banyan Tree School dedicated a day to bring about awareness among the students of classes I to VIII, through an interactive session on ‘Good Touch and Bad Touch’. The virtual session was conducted on 15th April 2021.
The children leaned to identify the difference between safe touch and unsafe touch. They also learned about the Safe Circle and not to conceal any experience of unwanted touch on their bodies.

They were guided to handle strangers and develop the courage to ward off any unwanted touch by saying ‘NO’ and immediately reporting it to their trusted elders.
The interaction with the help of PPTs and videos helped the young children to identify, safeguard and protect themselves against such dangers from an early age.

Foreign Exchange Programme: 

Banyan Tree School experienced a day full of warmth and camaraderie on 10th February 2020 as it hosted the students of Blackfen School, South London under an exchange programme. The enthusiastic group embarked on a joyful journey experiencing food and different aspects of the rich tradition and culture of Rajasthan like Block Printing, Mehndi, Tie and Dye, different quintessential spices, weaves, fabrics and dresses. This programme was a milestone in school’s journey towards broadening the student’s perspective.
Banyan Tree School bid a warm send off to the guests with a wish to strengthen the relation between the two countries.

Walls Must Teach

At BTS, Learning and knowledge are not confined to the classrooms only. The walls arrest the searching eyes and curious minds with interesting information and knowledge based on the ‘ The Walls must Teach’ concept.

Basant Panchmi Celebration: 

Banyan Tree School appeared resplendent with the colors of spring as it celebrated Basant Panchami on the 5th of February 2022.
A special assembly was conducted on the occasion which was attended by the Pre-Primary wing of the school along with the teachers and staff at the school premises. The rest of the school joined the occasion through the Zoom platform. This was followed by an array of activities adhering to the spirit of the occasion.
The day began with the special assembly to invoke Goddess Saraswati, the revered Goddess of Learning. The Ganesh Vandana was followed by the Saraswati Vandana imploring the Goddess to bestow the gift of knowledge and wisdom on all. The school prayer followed this.
The atmosphere resonated with the chanting of shlokas after which an inspiring and enlightening talk by the Senior Coordinator further invigorated the already spirited ambience of the school.
The celebration continued by conducting activities at various levels from Nursery to class X which included, a musical session, shloka recitation, and culinary session.
A special Career Counselling Session was conducted for classes IX and X where ex IITian and Centre Head Resonance Jaipur, Mr. Amit Singhal was the speaker who guided the students towards a judicious selection of careers.

Citation Ceremony & Farewell

It was a mixed bag of emotions sat Banyan Tree School on 26.03.2022, as it bade farewell to the outgoing class XII.
A warm initiative was taken up by the school to let them know that they will forever remain a part of the BTS family. The day started with the Citation Ceremony which included the lighting of the lamp and heartwarming speeches by the Head Girl, Head Boy, and the Principal. Wonderful memories of school life were reminisced along with words of gratefulness for the mentors and the institution.
A gala farewell party was organized for the students who came immaculately dressed for the occasion. It was fun food and frolic throughout as the Principal and staff showered wholehearted love and blessings upon the beloved students and wished the beloved students to reach higher in pursuit of excellence and conquer new vistas. The day summed up all the great emotions, nostalgia, tears, and excitement.

 WORLD EARTH DAY

  “Preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we’ve ever known.”

Earth Day was celebrated across all levels at Banyan Tree School with absolute passion. Children realize the infinite potential and beauty of Mother Earth and their effort to save their Blue Home is expressed with a lot of emotions through posters and slogans. Quizzes and interactions with the juniors were also held to raise awareness about the Earth, how to stop destruction at various levels, and what can be done to save our only home.

 COOKING WITHOUT FIRE

Food should be fun!!

Our little wonders looked cheerful as the cherries and ‘appy as apples, as they donned the role of chefs and doled out delectable small delicacies. The super enthusiastic lot made an all-out effort to be the best and yes, they made it! A recipe made with the ingredients of happiness and joy, fun and learn, and joyful serve. The happy and animated faces say it all.

WORLD HERITAGE DAY- POSTER MAKING

“It is not the honor that you take with you, but the heritage you leave behind”

Banyan Tree School celebrated ‘World Heritage Day on 16th.April 2022. Students of classes VI to VII participated in a poster-making activity to celebrate the occasion. Vibrant and colorful posters depicting world heritage sites and monuments were beautifully painted and exhibited by the students with eye-catching slogans.
The activity generated the desired outcome to instill the value of recognizing, appreciating, and upholding our cultural heritage.
