Banyan Tree School, located in Sector 48, Chandigarh, recently held a special ceremony to recognize and honor students who achieved remarkable milestones in their academic and extracurricular pursuits.
During the event, exceptional students from classes X and XII were presented with awards for their outstanding performance in the CBSE board examinations. Furthermore, students who excelled in National Olympiads and sports events were also acknowledged and rewarded for their accomplishments.
We had the privilege of welcoming Lieutenant General Kamaljit Singh as our esteemed guest at the event. Lieutenant General K.J. Singh PVSM, AVSM, the former General Officer Commanding-In-Chief of the Western Command, shared words of wisdom with the students, emphasizing the importance of values such as respect, resilience, and integrity. He encouraged them to cultivate self-discipline and to focus on building positive character. Lieutenant General Kamaljit Singh also commended the overall growth and development of the school under the guidance of Director Colonel Guljit Singh Chadha. The School Principal, Ms. Garima S Bhardwaj, expressed her gratitude through a vote of thanks, acknowledging all those who contributed to the success of the felicitation ceremony.
