The Investiture Ceremony at Banyan Tree School was held on 18th August 2023 to encourage and kindle the leadership qualities among young prodigies. The investiture ceremony is one of the momentous occasions when the school entrusts hope, faith and the mantle of responsibility to the newly appointed cabinet members. The ceremony started with the blessings of God in the form of Ganesh Vandana. The excitement of newly elected council members was apparent as they presented a Leaders March. The council members were honoured and conferred with badges and sashes.
Principal Ma’am Ms.Garima Bhardwaj administered the oath of allegiance to the newly appointed board of student council, who swore to serve their Alma Mater with utmost sincerity and to the best of their abilities.
The chief guest for the propitious ceremony was Mr.Vivek Atray who is an eminent author and a motivational Tedx speaker. A garland of motivational words by Mr.Atray guided the student council to be the role models and render their responsibilities sincerely as the nation builders of tomorrow. Mr.Atray focussed on developing the qualities of leadership at a young age among students.
An indelible mark was left on students’ heart by the presence of the Guest of Honour Colonel Daljeet Singh Cheema, Professor of Management, Shoolini University,Solan Col.Cheema advised students to inculcate the values of discipline,punctuality and determination as they are the torch bearers of tomorrow. He also prompted students to possess the quality of being humane and to follow the success mantra of “Being Happy & Making Others Happy”.
The ceremony was culminated by vote of thanks by the Director, Banyan Tree School, Colonel Guljit Singh Chadha. He exhorted the students to uphold the values and be infused with the spirit to create a positive influence with their service as leaders.
