The Special Assembly began with the chanting of the Sai Mantra, followed by the Lighting of the Lamp and Floral Tributes. Through graceful dances, stirring poems, and dramatic reenactments, students portrayed the bravery of Rani Laxmi Bai, the sacrifices of the martyrs of Jallianwala Bagh, Mahatma Gandhi\u2019s resolve during the Dandi March, and the courage of Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose, and other luminaries who shaped India\u2019s history.A major highlight was the Freedom Fighters\u2019 Parade, where the youngest students marched proudly, dressed as iconic figures from the independence movement. The programme also featured a mesmerizing dance inspired by Lord Shiva\u2019s Tandava, symbolising the eternal cycle of creation, preservation, and destruction. The ceremony commenced with a warm Welcome Address by a faculty member, who greeted the dignitaries, Principal Ms. Shibani Ghosh, staff, and students, while underlining the value of responsible leadership. <\/p>\n
This was followed by the Lighting of the Ceremonial Lamp by the Chief Guests\u2014Mr. Lakshay Pandey, Deputy Superintendent of Police and an alumnus of the school, and Mr. Bhumitra Sharma, an accomplished software developer and debater. The school choir performed a soulful Saraswati Vandana, adding a spiritual touch to the occasion. Mr. Lakshay Pandey, from the Class of 2011, is a Civil Services qualifier who has served in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and currently serves in Chandigarh. Mr. Bhumitra Sharma, with his dual expertise in technology and public speaking, has inspired many as an adjudicator and mentor.<\/p>\n
The core event began with the confident march of the Head Girl Ananya and Head Boy Aditya Kumar, followed by council members marching house-wise to the beats of the school band. The newly elected leaders were formally invested with badges, sashes, and flags by the Principal and Chief Guests. Principal Ms. Ghosh then administered the solemn oath, where the council members pledged to uphold the values of the institution and fulfill their roles with integrity. The Head Girl and Head Boy addressed the gathering with eloquence and gratitude, promising collaborative leadership and a positive school environment. The program began with a welcome speech by the main compere of the event, followed by an emotional yet inspiring address from the Principal, who congratulated the students on completing an important phase of their academic journey and encouraged them to pursue excellence in the future. The highlight of the program included captivating dance performances that energized the atmosphere, melodious music renditions that added a soulful touch, and an original poem recitation by a Class XI student that beautifully captured the nostalgia of school life.<\/p>\n
One of the key moments of the evening was the distribution of mementos to the departing students. Each student received a personalized souvenir as a token of love and remembrance from the school. The gesture was deeply appreciated and left many students emotional.<\/p>\n

The students, from grades 6, 7, and 8, had an enriching opportunity to explore and learn about India\u2019s history, cultural heritage, and the vital role of law enforcement in the country.
\nThe first stop of the excursion was the National Police Memorial, which is dedicated to the brave martyrs who have made the ultimate sacrifice while serving the nation. The memorial provided a deep and insightful understanding of the courage and dedication of our police officers. Students were able to pay their respects and learn about the sacrifices made by these officers, creating an atmosphere of reverence and appreciation for their service.
\nAfter the visit to the memorial, the group moved on to the beautiful Lodhi Garden, known for its lush greenery and historical significance. The garden, with its peaceful environment and scenic landscapes, provided the perfect setting for students to relax and reflect on the lessons they had learned. The excursion concluded with a small picnic where students had the chance to unwind, play, and enjoy each other\u2019s company, marking a symbolic end to their academy experiences.

\n[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.27.0″ _module_preset=”default” text_orientation=”center” global_colors_info=”{}”]The heritage walk to Humayun’s Tomb was an enriching experience for the Humanities students of Class XII. As the students entered the complex, they were struck by the majestic beauty and historical significance of the structures within, which featured architectural styles blending Indian, Persian, and Central Asian influences.<\/p>\n
The students began by exploring Isa Khan’s Tomb and Mosque, a pre-Mughal era structure built in 1547, and noted its unique combination of Lodhi and early Mughal architectural styles.<\/p>\n
Next, they visited Bu Halima’s grave and garden, a tranquil oasis within the complex. They learned about the significance of the garden’s design, inspired by the charbagh concept.<\/p>\n
The students then proceeded to the Arab Sarai, a historic inn for travelers and artisans, and discovered its importance in the construction of Humayun’s Tomb.<\/p>\n
The group continued to the Afsarwala Tomb and Mosque, a 16th-century structure built for a nobleman. They observed its intricate stone carvings and ornate decorations.<\/p>\n
The students explored the Baoli, a stepwell that served as a water source for the complex, and the ruins of shops adjacent to it. <\/p>\n
The walk culminated at Humayun’s Tomb, where they learned about the life of Humayun, the second Mughal emperor, and his wife Haji Begum, who commissioned the tomb’s construction. The complex also houses the graves of other Mughal rulers and nobles.<\/p>\n
This heritage walk deepened students’ understanding of India’s rich history, cultural diversity, and architectural heritage. It inspired them to appreciate and preserve their cultural treasures for future generations.

The event opened with a classical music performance, creating a reflective atmosphere. This was followed by a morning prayer, invoking blessings for the nation and its people, and setting a hopeful tone for the day.<\/p>\n
A poignant “Thought of the Day,” featuring a quote from John F. Kennedy\u2014\u201cAsk not what your country can do for you\u2014ask what you can do for your country\u201d\u2014reminded everyone of the values of service and responsibility. Attendees were then updated with national news, sports highlights, and the weather forecast.<\/p>\n
The program continued with a lively western musical performance that delighted the audience. This was followed by a skit that captured the essence of Independence Day, highlighting its historical and emotional significance. The festivities were further enhanced by a dynamic dance performance, adding vibrancy and energy to the event.<\/p>\n
