STUDENT COUNCIL

Student Council nurtures leadership qualities among its members. The Student Council functions as a spokesperson between the administration and student body, fostering harmonious relations among the school community. It encourages a spirit of promoting academic, social, and athletic events and organizes the election of members by individual classes. Student Council functions to be at the service of and assistance to the school community and above all to represent the views and voices of the Banyan Tree students.

The organizing of the student body into Houses generates participation for various Inter House competitions and co-curricular activities at different levels in the School. A congenial House spirit involves Primary and Senior section in healthy competition. Moreover, the house system offers ample opportunities for every student to develop and hone their leadership skills. Students are constantly encouraged to participate and shoulder responsibilities during various events organized by their house.

This in turn helps to inculcate a sense of integrity, work ethics, and team spirit among the students.

The four houses of the school are Abhilasha, Aakanksha, Prerna, and Prarthna each with its own inspiring motto to instill a sense of self-worth and achievement.
