Heritage Baithak at Lodhi Garden

Heritage Baithak at Lodhi Garden by Intach Delhi Chapter and the Exhibition ‘India and The World – A History in 9 stories’, on 13th May 2018. Around 16 students of Classes XI B and XII B (Humanities) of Banyan Tree School, Delhi attended the Heritage Baithak/ an Informal sit down discussion on the ‘Princes and Princesses of the Mughal Royal Family’ organised by INTACH at the Lodhi Gardens on Sunday 13th May 2018 at 7:30 am.
Following this interesting and informative session, undeterred by the heat, the group went on to explore a few later Mughal Structures within the Lodhi Gardens to understand a few key features of Mughal Architecture.
The group then went to the National Museum, Janpath to explore a recently inaugurated exhibition titled ‘India and the World: A History in Nine Stories.’
This enriching experience culminated in the students attending a workshop on making their very own Harappan Seals!
It was indeed a Sunday well spent.
