Cabinet of Egypt, 2013

The Cabinet of Egypt is the chief executive body of the Arab Republic of Egypt. It consists of the Prime minister and his cabinet of Ministers. The cabinet is predominantly responsible for preparing draft laws and decrees, supervising the implementation of the state laws and securing the rights of the citizens and the interests of the state.

The Cabinet of 2013 is associated with the constitutional changes in the history of Egypt and the concerns of the people regarding breach of democratic procedures. Ban-ki-Moon, the former Secretary General of the United Nations, urged other countries to help preserve the human rights of the people of Egypt and their freedom of speech and assembly, ergo making it a pertinent issue for the whole world.
